1. Why do you paint on un-stretched canvas? 
-There are a few reasons why. To name a few, I like painting first before stretching so I can choose my composition and size based on the painting not the size of the pre stretched canvas. 
-I also like being able to roll it up to save space. Stretched paintings take up a lot more room.
-I like being able to move around the canvas more freely. 
-I like being able to paint the whole canvas and then have that wrap around the edges when stretching over the bars. 
-Shipping is much easier and safer rolled up and then stretched and wired at the destination.
